A 60-day voyage around the Land Down Under has been cancelled following the tragic passing of an older woman who was stranded by the vessel on a remote coastal location.

The passenger had been walking on the remote island with shipmates from the Coral Adventurer, but parted ways from the group for a pause. The ship departed without her and returned several hours later after the ship staff discovered the lady was not present.

An extensive rescue mission found her person the subsequent day.

Investigative bodies are examining the incident, together with police and the state coroner.
