In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
